Thousands of individuals sent in their old phones and many other organizations and businesses instigated collection drives. 10,000 Phones for Mothers In Need

Women in the developing world often do not receive proper healthcare because of the lack of even the most basic communication tools. We’ve teamed up with the EveryMotherCounts campaign to recycle 10,000 used cell phones. The funds raised from these phones will equip two maternal care sites with mobile health technology – one in Nepal and one in the Democratic Republic of Congo where maternal health rates are among the worst in the world.
